My Ballot Statement

Hi, I’m Bob, I was born and raised in Santa Clara, a product of local schools, grammar school through college, I am retired from the California Highway Patrol after 30 years of service. I attained the rank of Lieutenant overseeing all patrol operations in San Francisco and San Mateo Counties.

I am active in the community, member of the 2023/24 Santa Clara County Civil Grand Jury, past board member of the Old Quad Resident’s Association, past member of the Neighborhood University Relations Sub-Committee, community advocate and much more.

Over the last few years the duties of the City Clerk have changed with the greatest responsibility being that of the City Elections Official. I believe this position needs to be non political, non partisan, community oriented, ensuring true democracy and transparency in all of our city elections.

My entire career has been dedicated to public service, and I still wish to serve. I have proven leadership skills and vast government administrative experience. If elected, I will perform my duties professionally, honestly, with high moral values and ethical standards.

Santa Clara is my city, it’s your city, it’s our city! With that thought in mind, I would be honored by your vote.

Years ago as a newly appointed officer of the California Highway Patrol, I swore an oath to serve, protect and defend the citizens' of the State of California. I believe that I have kept that pledge.
